"HRE!What the heck are you thinking?You might lose!"You yell at him,furious.He was so young!

He sighed."I will win.I will come back."Hearing him say that,you start trembling with anger.He was younger than you,and he reached your waist in height.

"What about Italy?Are you just going to leave her here?"You tried another attempt to make him stay.Italy was his weak point,and you were trying to persuade him to stay.Screw the war,some other country would finish it.You could not help him,as your own country was in financial problems.

"I have no choice,________.I'm leaving her to you."He started leaving the room,and you ran to the doorway,blocking him.Seeing that you weren't going to budge,he pulled the hem of your dress.

Kneeling down to his level,he kissed your cheek."Can I trust you with that,______?"You shot up instantly,face burning.That brat!Unsure of what to reply,you groaned and nodded.

He smiled his thanks and left the room.His steps across the grand hall echoed around the walls,and you ran after him.Entering the field,he noticed Italy.Italy looked up curiously,and hugged him.Seeing that,you decided to give them some privacy.

On the way back,you saw Austria yelling at you.Piling a whole load of weapons on you,he pointed out that he didn't want to send HRE into battle when you glared at him.

Before you could throw a punch at him,a call stopped your attempts of murdering Austria.Turning back,HRE waved to you.So,he was finally leaving...Rushing to him,you pulled him close to you.

"Don't you dare lose,HRE.If you do..."Your tears were falling,and your voice started shaking.Rome disappearing was enough.You did not want Italy to get hurt again.

He hugged you gently."I promise,_______"He left,and you noticed Italy crying.Perhaps,she too knew that HRE might lose.You cuddled her,and your eyes started watering again.

That day,the day was bright,promising victory.You watched his shadow till it disappeared.

When you got news of HRE,it was a day of rain.Thunderstorms raged,and you felt life losing its meaning when you got the news.The dish you were holding shattered into a million pieces,and you felt your soul get ripped apart.

You weren't sure if it was a nightmare.Remembering all the promises he made,you started wailing.Italy poked her head into the kitchen,and you saw that she was shaking.She ran to you,and started sobbing.

You had moved out a few days later,claiming that your boss needed you.It was depressing,and you knew you had to forget this pain.Sensing the whole mansion's atmosphere,you wondered if the pain would disappear.

"________!"Someone yelled,and you turned to get glomped by Italy.He (not she) had recovered,and somehow lost his memories.Austria and Hungary had moved on,but you couldn't.Patting his head,you smiled when Italy announced that he had a friend to introduce to you.

"He's really big,and he loves wurst!"Italy waved his hands around."You have to meet him,_______!"

What you saw Germany,you gasped.What stood in front of you was a grown up version of HRE.You ran to him,and hugged him.It turned out that he didn't know who HRE was,but he was very gentle when you started bawling your eyes out.

Perhaps,HRE had really disappeared.However,all was not lost.He had left,but what came in his place was an awkward German.Many years had gone since that incident,and it was time to move on.

That day when you were introduced to Germany,baby blue skies shone with warm rays of sunlight.

When you started tugging Germany away for a party,you heard a small voice,a voice painfully familiar.
