Feet dancing a rhythm on the floor,Spain hummed lightly.The room was brightly lid,the romantic atmosphere evident in the roses on the table and petals on the floor.His eyes drifted to the clock,anticipating the clock's minute hand turning to 7.Gently placing a bowl of tomato pasta on the glass table,his attention was diverted to the door creaking open slightly.
"I'm home."He heard you yell,and ran towards you.Waiting till you slipped off your shoes,he held his arms open for a daily hug.He froze when you ignored him,throwing your bag on the floor.
"__________?Where is my hug?"He questioned,seeing you scowl at him.
Pulling your jacket off,you cursed lightly."Not today,Spain.My boss worked my ass off tonight,and I'm tired."He noticed your dark eye circles,and pointed to the meal on the table.
"What about this,__________?I spent lots of time making this..."His voice was soft,pleading you to stop being so grumpy.
Glaring at him,you scowled harshly."Spain,I said no."Slamming the door shut,his eyes were full of sadness and he stared at the ground before eating silently.Was it something he had done wrong?Did someone offend you?Countless questions swirled in his mind,each depressing him more and more.
The bathroom door opened and he shot up to meet you,leaving his pasta half-eaten."__________,let's eat."He grinned at you,pushing you towards the table.
Seeing you eat a bite,his smile froze when he noticed you leave the table."Thanks for the meal."You placed your plate in the dishwasher,grabbed your bag and locked your door.Spain stood behind the door like a kicked puppy,tears bubbling in his eyes.
He had used so much effort to make it,and spent so much time trying new placements of the decorations."__________,I'm sorry.Please don't get so mad..."He had never seen you so grouchy,and was reminded of the photo Belgium slipped to him in one of the meetings.
Another man was laughing with you,red hair shining in the sunlight.Your smile was bright,but his eyes were on the arm the man had around your shoulder.Belgium had assured him that nothing was going on,but he couldn't be so sure.Men's perfume could be smelt on your coat,and he wondered if you were cheating on him.
Tears started to flow,and he pulled his knees closer to his body.Wiping his eyes every so often with his arm,an hour passed.He did not hear the door opening slowly,and continued crying.A small gasp was heard,and he felt his body being pulled up and fingers hastily wiping the tears away from his eyes.
"Spain?!What happened to you?!"Your eyes were full of worry,and he couldn't help but get drawn into your orbs."Did someone bully you?Tell me!"You started shaking him,and a chuckle came from his lips.
His hands reached out for you,and you grasped it tightly."I'm really glad that you came out of the room."Seeing your face redden,he smiled a goofy smile at you.Pulling you to the table,he ignored your shouts of 'Liar!' and 'You tricked me!'.
Seeing you in a better mood,he assumed that you had taken a short nap.Assuring you that he was tricking you with his tears,he casually asked about the perfume and you answered cheerfully about it being a new sample.He hesitated for a moment before pulling the photo out,and you nearly choked on your food.
"Spain!He's one of my workers!"You laughed out,and he sighed in relief.The pasta was cold,but you didn't seem to mind.You started complaining about your work,and he patted your shoulder to comfort you when you started cursing your boss.
"Ah yes,I nearly forgot about this."Your hand reached out for a small box,and tossed it to him.His eyes went wide,recognizing the smell."I found this fitting for you."You grinned at him,and his eyes went wide.
"__________,thank you!"He yelled,hugging you close to him.You giggled,pulling him close and allowing him to waltz with you around the room.

Before saying anything about Spain being out of character for tearing up that easily,it's because he suspected Reader for a long time.Seeing Reader act cold to him made him think that Reader was going to leave him,hence the waterworks.I tried writing it from Spain's POV,but it's really hard and I changed it to 'you' with more lines about Spain than Reader.Next time,I better stick to Reader's POV.
